This is the one deception that really makes people so uncomfortable. The flat earth vs globe earth debate has been ignored until recently. We have been so conditioned (since early childhood) to see the world as a globe that it seems foolish to think any other way.

Between globes in all schools, pictures of the globe earth in picture books, cartoons, tv shows & movies, we expect the world to be just as it has been described to us. It is prevalent in everything we see and do. And they have done this on purpose.

They mock flat earthers. They teach that in history we once believed the same lie. But that is only because we were not sophisticated enough, knowledgeable enough to know any differently. We were ignorant.

Until “science” came along and taught us better. After all, we have evidence of explorers sailing around the world.

Don’t we?

They have paid particular attention to this deception because of its importance. Denying flat earth, denies its Creator. Denying flat earth, denies our importance to that Creator. And denying flat earth sets up for the deception of the sun’s importance (they worship the sun). It makes us susceptible to the alien deception to come.

But even more importantly, announcing ourselves as flat earthers means we can be dismissed. We are conspiracy theorists (a term made up by the CIA). There is no one crazier than we.

After all, if it were true a whole lot of people would have to be in on it. And that is just not possible.

Or is it?

Most of us unknowingly feed the lie. Every time we teach our children the globe lie, we facilitate the deception. When we mock those trying to make us question, we do their job for them.

They set the lie in motion long ago. We are only keeping it going by not questioning them.

As Christians especially, we need to take another look at this. So many signs point to a biblical flat earth model. The creation story as written in Genesis. The story of the flood. Multiple verses in both Psalms & Ezekiel.

Not to mention the fact that flat earth shows us that God sees us, knows us, loves us. Everything here is for us. And if that is the case, then we can easily believe He would send His only Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

The Heliocentric Idolatry

When we believe and defend the globe lie, we are unwittingly creating an idol out of the sun. Because in their heliocentric model, we are spinning around the sun. And not the other way around.

The sun becomes the center of our “solar system”, the reason we are alive. We place an importance on life outside of our home “planet”. We can become careless of the responsibility given to us on earth because it may not be the only home for us.

And when the bottomless pit opens and all the creatures of the deep, the demons emerge, we can be fooled into thinking they are just aliens. That they can be defeated by human means. That our battle is only physical, not spiritual.

A Spiritual Truth

In my own personal journey to find the truth, it was researching flat earth that finally brought me back to God. It finally opened my eyes to the truth that Jesus is who He said He was. Through this lens I began to understand the truth of the world.

More importantly, it is the means to knowing just how deeply Satan has ensnared us in his lies. This entrapment has been to both our physical and spiritual detriment. It tethers us to this world in a way nothing else can. And makes it easier to deny the spiritual fight we are in daily.

Please, research this topic. But use discernment. There are more videos available now than when I first started looking into it. As more people begin to wake from slumber, the enemy has seen the need to add deception even where truth can be found. Not everything is trustworthy.

My rule of thumb is if the presenter quotes the Bible in their explanation. In fact, it was a Christian flat earther that made me finally confront the truth of this concept.
